The design of this open top holster allows for an instant shooters grip. The J.I.T. Slide has an open muzzle, which will accommodate different barrel lengths of the same gun model or similar frame size. Center belt loop & a side covered belt slot pulls the firearm close to the body and fits belts up to 1 3/4".

Now that I had my CHL and a Kel-Tec PF9, the next step was to buy a holster. I knew I wanted something that rides high and mounts to the belt. I waited for the Mesquite, TX gun show (Sep 10-22, 2010) so I could see as many holsters as possible. After hours of trying different holsters, I finally decided on the Don Hume JIT SLIDE 80-4 in Saddle Brown. I'm extremely satisfied. Based on my limited knowledge on holsters (4 hours of testing at the show!), I have to say this is in my opinion one of the smartest holster designs around.
