I carried a Springfield Armory XD9-SC in this holster for about four years. The spring belt clip holds securely, yet it is easy to remove at the end of the day. Also alternate with a Glock 19 in the same holster. I finally decided to order one made for the Glock, since the G19 barrel sticks out the bottom of the SC holster. I recommend this model highly.
This is a very comfortable holster. I bought it for my Taurus PT111 Millennium Pro as a concealed carry holster. Not knowing how these would function on a day to day basis prior to buying, I am please with the quality, form fitting leather to my specific model. The only thing I would advise is a nice stiff belt for carrying firearms. Your typical retail clothing store belt just isn't durable enough for every day firearm carry. But a good belt, combined with this holster has given me much confidence with Don Hume holsters, and I am in the process of waiting for my second purchase to be made, and shipped to me.
Baught this one at a gun show for my PPK. I got the hand model(I'm right hand) and wear it in the small of my back tilted to my right.Works very well except when seated very long it can be uncomfortable. I will also wear it outside the pants on the right side cliped to my 1-3/4" leather belt. This works good also but you have to have a strong belt. I added a black leather loop strap from the clip up and over the tail of the gun to hold it down (like and old western tie-down) That also works very well. This is my favorite gun and holster.
